Just to clarify, Acupuncture isn't "New Age" - It's ancient

Among the misconceptions about Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture - this one seems most ill-informed.

I have heard people say they don't 'believe' in any new-age stuff, or that new-age therapies go against their belief/religious system.

They estimate TCM is anywhere between 3000-5000 + years old.  It originated in ancient China and has evolved over thousands of years.

One of the most widely studied textbooks, the Neijing,  is over 2 thousand years old.

That isn't new-age!

It is new to the Western World ... but very much has a long, rich history.  The body of knowledge is vast & ever expanding... Which is what drives me to keep learning and honing my skills.

So, just as a heads up - this form of medicine is anything but new.  Please pass it on ;)
